Again I shadowed some presenters from where I work at a middle school health class. I was only shadowing at one school out of the hundreds in the city. During the 4th class I look over and see my nephew! I had no idea he went to the school and I had no choice in what school I was shadowing . Needless to say, we were both shocked to see each other. In fact he was so shocked to see me he asked my last name to verify it really was me! We saw each other in a new light. I got to see how he interacted with his peers (he's the smart kid!) and he got to see me 'at work'. It was neat. :)

I sat in on 4 middle school STI health class presentations this morning. I came home, grabbed lunch and went to the DVR. The first show I started watching was Bones from last week. I kid you not, the opening sequence was two teens who just had sex outside and then the boy went around the corner to pee and he peed into a puddle that turned purple. He called out to the girl and said, "Are you SURE I'm the first person you have had sex with?" implying that she had just given him some kind of sexually transmitted infection. WEIRD!
