Recently I quit my job as a hospice social worker. I had only worked for the company for 3 months, but it was long enough to know that it was not the right place for me. I still love hospice and will definitely continue as a volunteer if not a social worker again somewhere else.
Over the past few months, I have felt drawn back to writing. I have a MA in Journalism and Communication because I love writing, but I never really pursued writing as a way to make a living. Writing is not something that I necessarily want to do, but I seem to NEED to write.
I had lunch with my friend Kristi and told her that I felt I am really meant to be a writer. A week later, she had lunch with a friend of a friend who is an entrepreneur. He said to her, "I really need a writer. Do you know of anyone?" She gave him my name, he called me and when we met, we realized it was a good fit. So, I am now "officially" a paid writer.
We all have marveled at the synchronicity of it all.

In an interview with Harper's Bazaar, Lady Gaga stated that she felt that she channeled Alexander McQueen (Fashion designer who had committed suicide) when she wrote the song, "Born this Way." This is a HIT song that she wrote and she is not even taking credit for it. A lot of news articles are making fun of her saying that she received creative inspiration from beyond. But how else do you explain the synchronicity that her record label decided to release the song on the anniversary of his death?! I believe you Gaga!
