Directional Synchronicity: Embrace Your Emotional Pain

So this is amusing in a sad, twisted way. I bought these 'Growth and Enlightenment' Cards when I was in Sedona. I am semi-addicted to them - they're fun. What's really weird is that there are 50 cards in the deck, and although I shuffle very well every day, I end up drawing the same few cards over and over. The worst one says 'Embrace your emotional pain' and it's the card that I drew the day I got bad news at work. Then last week both my husband I and drew that same card the same day, the day after we had a disagreement. Freaky.

Mirror Synchronicity: Cava

I was having dinner with my uncle and he was talking about an upcoming trip to Spain and how he was going to have some Cava with my cousin. Cava is a Spanish wine that I had never heard of until that evening. The following day, my husband and I were on our way to work and someone on the a.m. radio show that he listens to was telling a story about an Uncle and drinking Cava. It was really weird!

Coincidence in the news: mother/son reunion

In case any of you synchronicity fans missed this story, I would be remiss not to mention the latest coincidence that was in the news. Steve Flaig, who was adopted, set about to find his birth mother and he ultimately found her at work - they both worked at the same Lowe's!!!

They made the talkshow circuit. I love it when synchronicities make the news!

Listen to the Universe Part II

A month ago I had mentioned how three different psychic readings had indicated my father should have his heart checked. A couple of weeks ago I was visiting my cousin and started telling her the story. The next thing I know, she started sobbing. She had just had a dream about her mom (my dad's sister) telling her about a man who needed to get his heart checked. Until I told her the story she didn't know who her mom was referring to.

Incidentally, my dad did have his heart checked and there was an abnormal EKG, so he had to have further tests. Pray for him for me.

Directional Synchronicity: Do you know a dentist?

My father decided to switch dentists and asked a friend at lunch if he had a recommendation. The friend recommended his dentist, Mark Foster. Not 30 seconds later, it turned out the recommended dentist was having lunch in the same restaurant and walked by. My father took it as a sign that this was the one he should choose!

This is kind of a directional and a mirror synchronicity I think.
