Directional Synchronicity: I am a writer

Recently I quit my job as a hospice social worker. I had only worked for the company for 3 months, but it was long enough to know that it was not the right place for me. I still love hospice and will definitely continue as a volunteer if not a social worker again somewhere else.

Over the past few months, I have felt drawn back to writing. I have a MA in Journalism and Communication because I love writing, but I never really pursued writing as a way to make a living. Writing is not something that I necessarily want to do, but I seem to NEED to write.

I had lunch with my friend Kristi and told her that I felt I am really meant to be a writer. A week later, she had lunch with a friend of a friend who is an entrepreneur. He said to her, "I really need a writer. Do you know of anyone?" She gave him my name, he called me and when we met, we realized it was a good fit. So, I am now "officially" a paid writer.

We all have marveled at the synchronicity of it all.

I found your blog by accident searching Google "follow your signs." I'm in the throws of writing something and needed some direction. Here we are, must be a sign.

I have been inspired to read through some of your blog and have enjoyed the day to day synchronicity.

You have opened a window to something that just might transpire into a movie oneday.

Congratulations on your new writing job, well done ! Stef
