This story is a little long but well worth it.
This post reminded me about my Grandmother who was very involved with the Rosicrucians in the 1950s. I had previously done a google search on her and was pleased to find her name listed in a directory, but I never found anything else. Seeing Sophia's blog reminded me to check again, since I know people are adding to google every day.
And here's what I found. A lovely POEM. To my recollection, I have never seen this poem by my grandmother before. It touched me in ways I cannot articulate. My grandmother died when I was ten and I never got to know her very well. Anyways... without further ado, here it is. THANK YOU SOPHIA!
Two Songs
To awaken in the morning
With a song on your lips,
And to retire at night
With a song in your heart,
That, my child, is living.

This is maybe the second time in all my years of blogging (four) that a blog post has brought tears to my eyes and given me chills.
It has been truly heartwarming reading this, and it brings me great joy to know that you were able to find a piece of your grandmother's history. Her poem spoke volumes in just a few words.
You are
Lovely
