Directional Synchronicity: Dying in the Digital Age

My cousin JL and I are close, and I blog about her frequently. Last year she completed her PhD in Digital Psychology. I study Thanatology (death and dying) and hope to return to school for my PhD as well.

A few days ago, JL and I were talking about our mutual interests and I lamented that it would be so nice for us to find a way to work together.
Not long after I was catching up on my journal reading when I came across a conference called, "Dying in the Digital Age" that perfectly blends our two disciplines. Neither of us knew that a "blending" existed. Not only does it blend our interests, but the conference had issued a "call for papers" due in March. It is almost as if the universe has not only blessed the idea of us working together, but is now nudging us to do so.

The conference is in England and we would both be paying out of pocket. Because it never hurts, we have asked the universe to provide the financial means for us both to go. We'll see what happens.

As a side note, my interest is in studying the blogs of people who say that they created they blog because they are dying, and they want to document their final months. It seems to be a trend lately. If you come across any of these blogs, please send them my way.
