Mirror Synchronicity: The Cat who Likes to Meditate

Karma
This is Karma.  Apparently, she likes to meditate.  On my IPad I have downloaded several relaxation and meditation apps with Glenn Harrold.  At first his accent was a bit distracting, but now I think it is relaxing and the recordings are amazing!  One of my favorite ones is the "Chakra Cleansing."

Three times in a row, Karma jumped up on me and started kneading my chest while I was listening to the meditation.  What was even more amusing, is that each time it happened during the same part in the recording that clears the third chakra, which is the Solar Plexus.

Usually by the time I got to the fourth chakra in the meditation, she has settled down, laying right on my chest, purring loudly and sending me her healing energy.

She must like his voice because if I turn on the "instant sleep" meditation to help me fall asleep, she comes running into the bedroom and jumps up and settles down parallel to me.  Strangely, during that meditation, she does not jump onto my chest - it is only when I'm clearing my chakras.

Required Reading: Calls to the Mystic Alice

I am a compulsive book buyer.  I now probably own over 50 metaphysical books.  Just this week, I bought 10 books in one trip to Half Price Books. Unfortunately, I often buy more books before I have read the ones that I have. Fortunately, I finally set out to read a book I purchased last year: Calls to the Mystic Alice by a psychic named Alice Rose Morgan.  It was a great read and in fact, I finished the whole book in two days, which is a rarity for me.  Alice talks about what she has learned over the years from her spirit guides (she calls them 'spooks' but I don't like that term). She talks about energy and Karma and reincarnation and 'working it out' on the Astral plane. If you're into all of that stuff, I would recommend that you find a copy of this book.

p.s. if anyone has suggestions for curing my acquisition problem...I'm listening

Required Reading: The Power of Karma

I only say required reading for my very favorite books. I have no association with the author or the publisher. As you might have noticed from my blogging, I appreciate a straightforward communication style. In The Power of Karma, Mary T. Browne explains the concept of karma in a straightforward way. She's a little bossy at times - "write this down" but she means well and I actually enjoy the lecture. One point that hit home was that negative thoughts can be just as harmful as negative actions. She suggests that you repeat the word, "Harmony" over and over to try and get the negative thoughts out of your mind. I like that. Harmony. It seems to work. Read this book and tell me what you think.
